Flushed with success at washroom projects

Shall we talk washrooms?

Whatever sector you operate in, standards need to be maintained, and nowhere is that more evident than in washrooms, particularly when they are being used by a range of people throughout the day.

Take the educational environment, for example. As they are growing up, children spend around a third of their lives in school, so ensuring they have the right facilities is vital.

Cleanliness and hygiene are important components of the overall ‘health’ of any school. And, given what we have all been through in recent times, the mantra “wash your hands, wash your hands, wash your hands” means that such facilities are being utilised more than ever before.

At Zero Point 8, we have been involved in a number of projects that help maintain those standards. Our interiors team has been helping pupils and teachers return to school during the autumn term in the safest possible environment. We have recently completed a project to fit out new washrooms at a Birmingham academy.

The school’s restrooms get a lot of ‘traffic,’ and therefore need to be bright and clean, but easy to maintain and easy to supervise too. As a company, we pride ourselves on the standard of the work we deliver, and can look after washroom projects from start to finish, incorporating everything from the initial quote for work through design, manufacture, fitting and even support after the job is finished, if it’s required.

Some schools will be independent from the local authority, others run under the auspices of the council, but whatever the need, our team has accumulated a vast range of experience.

Local authorities are also usually responsible for the upkeep of crematoria, and we were pleased to be able to fit out another set of washrooms at a West Midlands crematorium recently. We will all have read about the stresses and strains that people have been put under in terms of attending or arranging funerals, so it’s important that crematoria provide a safe and hygienic environment in which people can say goodbye to the ones they love. Which is why our team is always only too pleased to help – whatever the nature of the job.

If you need to upgrade your restroom facilities, we can help – contact us today.
