Zero Point 8 was in the spotlight again this week when CEO Mark Baker appeared on a live tv interview on the BBC’s Victoria Derbyshire programme, as well as featuring on the national BBC news twice and a live radio interview with BBC WM.
The interviews were centred around the furlough scheme and how the business has repurposed itself in these challenging times to support the health sector and businesses by providing a number of Covid-19 related products to the NHS, care homes and businesses; products include sneeze screens, hand sanitiser stations, isolation wards and PPE stations.
Interviewed in the factory was furloughed Zero Point 8 employee Jon Penhallurick. During the interview Jon said he thought the furlough scheme was a good thing as it had given the business the opportunity to change.
Mark commented on the interviews saying “It’s been a really difficult time for the business, we were facing a cliff edge so to be able to turn things around to do our bit for the country and to save the business, has been an incredible experience and one which wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our amazing employees.”
Zero Point 8 work nationally offering a full turnkey solution – survey, manufacture and install – anywhere in the UK.
